A Photo Every Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — laupre @ 10:21 pm

Crafting and photography are two of my greatest joys.  On this blog I like to share the joys of crafting, but I’ve just recently started a photoblog, hosted on Aminus3 (Which I really like so far).  My twin brother and I decided to commit ourselves to taking a photo every day and posting it online starting on our birthday, Sept 6th, 2008 and continuing until at least Sept 6th 2009.  Taking just one photo everyday and getting it up online doesn’t seem like too much of a challenge yet, but I have a feeling it may get more difficult as time goes on.  The rules? For each day of the year we must take and post a photo for that day.  No cheating by using photos taken on a different date, and if it isn’t posted before midnight it is considered a fail.  We’ll each create a “Fail” image to hold the place of the missing image and it should stand out as show of shame for not sticking to the commitment.  At the end of the year we’re going to get all of the photos printed and put them all together for display.  I think it will be a lot of fun to see all the different things that caught my eye during the course of a year.

If you’re interested in checking in on my Photo-A-Day Challenge you can view my photos by clicking the image above or by following this link.  To see the photos taken by my twin, you can follow this link to his page.
EDIT: Due to hosting issues, My twin’s recent photos can be seen on his animus page:

Wish me luck with my year of photos!

Cheers,

LauPre
